“Sudha recently catered for my 50th birthday (18 family guests) at a lovely rented beach house at Moffat Beach. Canapes and tapas followed by noodle box mains. Can not speak highly enough of the quality and quantity of the food, its freshness and creativity. Sudha just zoomed into an unknown kitchen and produced it all like clockwork. Food really was of a supreme restaurant standard. A lovely guy to boot, as was his waitperson. Hire this man.

I am still sitting here enjoying the feast of today’s cooking class with you. Leigh and I are have not stopped talking about how much we felt the value of your time and the quality of the food and the experience of gaining knowledge from a very experienced chef like yourself was a 10/10.
Where could you go and gain knowledge about the food you like to eat, Learn how to cook the food you like to eat and then be served this beautiful feast and enjoy with a nice glass of wine with some great company. You have gone above and beyond very, very impressed. Such great value for money and a great idea to share with a loved one or as a group.
We will be back and we will be telling everyone about our experience at the Sacred Chef.

We are still talking about the fantastic time we had with you last Sunday at the Cooking Class! We have, in fact, lost count of the number of people we have spoken to about it. Everyone has been very interested and many have said they want to take part in a class. We hope sometime to organize a group of our friends so that we can share the experience with them.
Thank you for the way you explained every step to us and assisted us as required. We have already used many of your “tips” in our own cooking and have cooked one of the dishes from your menu – the Thin Crusted Pizza. It was just as delicious second time round!
Everything about the day was perfect – the use of good quality ingredients, the way in which you helped us (but letting us think it was our own creation), the conversation and, of course, the meal itself.
We are currently preparing a review which we will submit to Trip Adviser.

Well, we gained so very much more. The mocking of my slow prep skills was fun (for a while) however, that was the point. We aren’t on Facebook being rather boring people——however we do know great food, smiling service and value for money when we experience it, as we did when you catered for our 70th birthday party.
And that’s not to forget the absolute professional way that you went about working in our home, we have never had such a clean sink after a party and with such little disruption to our normal party antics.
All of our guests are wanting to know when the next party is and will you be providing the food again, even those who came from the Barossa Valley!

The Sacred Chef Seafood Noodle Night at the UpFront Club in Maleny was a great success. Booked out before we opened on the night, the heat was intense in the kitchen, as we plated-up plump, snapper, Thai fishcakes and prawn dumplings. The fresh seafood laksa was the undisputed dish of the night, with grilled tiger prawns, snapper fillets, crab claws and mussels piled high on a delicious spicy coconut noodle soup. Fresh lime and lemongrass, sesame vegetables and toasted seeds, slow roasted lamb shanks in a red curry sauce, crisp bok choy and Vietnamese mint – these were just some of the aromatic flavours we played with.

Prior to that the Sacred Chef had a rich history as restaurateur and cafe owner in Sydney, Adelaide and Perth. The Sacred Chef began his cooking journey in Zorba the Buddha’s kitchen.
Sacred Chef Catering was thrilled to fill the platters, at Peta’s 40th Birthday Party on Saturday night 18 December in Maleny at the Top Cottage (what a great view from the deck!), with BBQ seafood and gourmet sausages and canapes. We beat the rain that night and everyone really enjoyed the food and French champagne – which flowed all night.
The snapper Thai fishcakes done on the BBQ grill were a big hit, along with the leek and olive goat’s cheese pastries. A special night that the Sacred Chef felt honoured to be part of – thanks Peta!
